Additional Tax for Fat Passenger

Should penumang extra weight of aircraft subjected to an additional fee if they need the extra seats? More than 76 percent of travelers said need. This is the result of a survey conducted by skyscanner travel sites.
The survey was conducted related to the height of the debate after the airline Air France announced plans to provide additional fare for passengers who are not fit to sit on a bench and need extra passenger seat. Since 2005 the airline that offers passengers the fat to buy two seats with a 25 percent discount.
Skyscanner site owner, Barry Smith, said, “fat tax” is a sensitive thing for the airline passengers who want to watch without being distinguished passengers fat.
“On one side is normal if the airlines want to charge extra for passengers who spent two seats. However, on the other hand, many argue was the airline’s responsibility to create a comfortable seat and in accordance with various forms of body passengers, “said Smith.
Most survey respondents said, the airline should make a seat that can mangakomodasi all body shapes and sizes of passengers. Meanwhile, others argue that the additional fee must be calculated based on the weight of passengers plus luggage.
In the United States, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines have rules for overweight passengers to buy two seats and be able to claim a refund if the plane was empty. While in Canada, the country’s high court issued a rule that says, fat people and people with disabilities who travel by plane should not be forced to buy two seats.
