Gates Promises Aid Vaccine Development Fund

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will donate 10 billion dollars over a period of next decade to fund research new vaccine manufacturing will be given to people in poor countries.
In a statement, Bill Gates also took the government and the business world to get involved. He said the donation will produce the number of immunizations so great that it expected to reach the target vaccine to 90 percent of children in poor countries so that they are protected from deadly diseases, like diarrhea and pneumonia.
“This is the decade of the vaccine. The vaccine has proven safe and improve the quality of life of people in poor countries. Through the latest innovations in the world we hope the vaccine will be more children are saved,” said Bill Gates in a statement.
He added, digelontorkan foundation donations doubled from previous years are only 4.5 billion U.S. dollars. Through this donation, estimated 7.6 million children younger than 5 years can be saved in the year 2019.
It is estimated there will be an additional 1.1 million more children could be saved after a malaria vaccine production in the coming 2014. Likewise, the TB vaccine that will prevent more deaths.
“The vaccine is a miracle. We just need a few doses, but they will work to prevent diseases of our lifetime,” said Melinda Gates.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was a foundation set up by one of the richest people in this world to deal with health issues and global education.
