For the middle to compete to lose weight, now can continue to inform the latest news about their weight through Twitter.

A technology company in France, carpenter Withings create wireless weight that can send a tweet every time they weigh.

Initially, carpenter named WiFi Body weight Scales automatically record the weight and body mass index of the user, and then will upload the results to the page of a web or iPhone applications.

But now Withings provide additional capabilities at WiFi Body Scales to post information to mikroblogging site Twitter. That is, every time a user had set foot on the carpenter’s body, all citizens Twitter will know the extent to which the success or bad diet does result these users.

Withings mention the addition of this capability is designed to make users who are trying hard to lose weight in order to keep motivated.

“We kept trying to bring technology, designs and innovations to everyday objects via a wireless connection to connect to the Internet. We think, Body Scale WiFi truly brings all these elements,” said General Manager Withings Cedric Hutchings was quoted as saying by the Telegraph, Friday (8/1/2010).

“We want to be known as the creator of wireless devices that make consumers lives better every day,” he added.

Body Scale WiFi that can be purchased through the Amazon site is using the technology ‘biometric impedance analysis’. This technology analyzes the composition of the fat a person with an accurate calculation.

Although Withings not mention how many people are updating their weight tweet on Twitter, the Twitter search results show there are enough users who use WiFi Body Scales.

One of the most famous user of them is Bob Metcalfe, inventor of Ethernet technology activist. In his latest tweet mentioned that Metcalfe managed to reduce the weight of 40.5lbs.
